Assessing and Tutoring

At Hands On Dyslexia, we are passionate about helping people of all ages to read and write.

The English language is very complex, and we can help to demystify it.

We offer a ‘hands on’ approach and love to teach reading and writing through ‘doing’.

‘If they don’t learn the way we teach them, we must teach them the way they learn.’ (Anon)

Signs of Dyslexia:

  • reading or spelling difficulties

  • difficulties remembering and following instructions

  • noticeable gap between verbal and written abilities

  • difficulty recording ideas on paper

  • getting 10/10 for weekly spelling tests and then forgetting them by the next week

  • taking longer than others to process information

  • Is this affecting self confidence and self esteem?

    If so we can help.
